Thanks, but no

According to a credit card offer I received in the mail, if I sign up for their rewards program, I can earn enough points to stay at a hotel for one night - If I spend $1,000 a month on their card.

Do normal people regularly put $1,000 on their credit card every month??

How about I not run up a thousand dollar credit card bill each month, and with the money I save in interest fees, I'll pay for the hotel room myself.

Hm, maybe that's what's wrong with my budget. . .the spending of $1000 on my credit card each month. . .

If you had their credit card, you'd have earned a WHOLE NIGHT at a hotel by now. Heck, if you doubled your spending, you could even unpack and stay for TWO! ;)

The flight to the States(paid on the credit card) would ensure I could probably make a long weekend of it and stay a couple of extra days!

Just out of curiousity, which credit card is it?

I think it was Capital One. - So a flight to the states would cost over 12,000? What the heck airline is that??? :D (12,000 in spending is about what it would cost to earn one night.)
