How to get kids to move out

Today I learned:

If alligator babies don't move away by the time they're a year old, the mother eats them.

I would so do that if I ever had kids, I imagine I wouldn't stand them more than a year ;)

and how many is an alligator year compared to people years?!!

That's a good question. An article online said alligators in the wild live to be about 50 years old, so I guess their 1 year olds are just way more mature than we are. - Or their moms are way more stressed! ;)

Lol! How brilliant is that? Supposedly this gem of knowledge was imparted by an alligator catcher trying to reassure locals about anything that might still have been in the lake!
